What materials are stored in the Robotic Retrieval System (RRS)?

A large variety of library materials are stored in the RR including books, documents, journals, microform, and videos are among the formats. The following list highlights the main subject areas contained in the RRS as of 2009:
 

  • Science, medicine and technology subject areas that meet the following criteria:
  • books with multiple copies,
  • books published 1999 & earlier,
  • bound journals duplicated in online sources,
  • bound journals no longer published
  • Some Library Science books and journals
  • Theses and dissertations
  • Government Documents
  • Oversize books
  • Selected reference materials, e.g., indexes & abstracts duplicated online
  • Back issues of Index Medicus from the Kornhauser Library
  • Selected bound journals from the Art Library
