A microfilmed copy of index cards created by LFPL librarians from 1917 to 1986 is available in the microforms area on the 2nd floor of Ekstrom Library. Entries are arranged alphabetically by subject with information to direct the researcher to the appropriate newspaper page and column.  Historical copies of the Courier-Journal (1830-1922) are available online to Louisville Free Public Library cardholders, through the LFPL's Research Tools: Newpapers website.
