Try the options below to get help:
Option 1: Have you changed your password recently, or had the IT Helpdesk (852-7997) change it? If you call the IT helpdesk, have them make sure you are not locked out of your Active Directory account. If they reset your password then go to the site at http://password.louisville.edu to create a permanent password.
Option 2: If the web service at http://password.louisville.edu will not allow you to change your password or you FORGOT it then the IT Helpdesk will have to give you a temporary password. Use the temporary password to create a new current password for yourself http://password.louisville.edu
You can change your password at the PC located at the Reference Desk located on the first floor of Ekstrom Library.
As you use University computing services, always remember that passwords are case-sensitive.
When you create a new password, all University accounts (such as ULink, BlackBoard, etc.) will use that new password. You have only 3 incorrect tries before your account is locked out; you will then have to contact the IT Helpdesk to unlock your account.
Option 3: If all else fails, contact the OLT office at 852-6059, or visit the OLT office here at Ekstrom Library, Room W011 (Monday-Friday, till 4PM) (new wing, lower level, across from Chao Auditorium).
Note: Don’t Forget To Change Your Password On Your Wireless Devices (including Phones, Pc’s, And Tablets).
